Creating materials and Forms with Copilot.

Copilot

During the class, we used Microsoft Copilot to create an interactive resource for practicing English. The teacher gave us a dialogue, and we wrote a prompt with specific instructions for Copilot to create an HTML file.

The final resource includes a conversation divided into six audio activities. The student must listen to each audio, read the dialogue, and answer a multiple-choice question. When the student chooses the correct answer, the next activity is unlocked. The resource also includes motivational elements, such as confetti, celebration sounds, and a progress bar.

This resource mainly helps students practice listening and reading skills. Students listen to short parts of a conversation, read the dialogue, and answer multiple-choice questions.

In class, the teacher can use the resource as an individual activity or as pair work. Students can listen to each audio more than once, choose an answer, and receive immediate feedback. 

Reflection

This resource can support an English class because it makes learning more interactive and visual. The audio activities help students improve their listening comprehension while also expanding their vocabulary.

Microsoft Copilot can also help teachers create creative digital resources. However, before using the resource in class, it is important for the teacher to review the content and check that the images, audio files, questions, and answers work correctly.

This type of resource does not replace formal tests or assessments, but it can be a useful tool for practicing English skills, especially listening.
